A Lucky Star game for the PSP has been announced by Japanese manga and video game publishing company Kadokawa Shouten, who publish the Lucky Star manga, as well as the Lucky Star PS2 game, Lucky Star: Ryōō Gakuen Ōtōsai.

In the game, you will become a manager who’s looking to select a girl out of the Lucky Star cast of characters and guide her along the perilous path to becoming an idol. The game will be set in four different locations, each of which will have a different set of activities to do, such as take part in auditions, get part time jobs, take lessons, as well as taking part in the all-important idol-contests. All of the characters from the manga have been stated to make an appearance, as well as original characters from previous games.

The game is set to be released on December 24th, and retail at 6090 yen, with a speacial edition avalible at 8190 yen.
